Laura Johnston

Laura Johnston is an award-winning Shopper Marketing creative, with multiple gold, silver and bronze Effies and Reggie Awards for shopper, B2B and mobile marketing. 

Her career in digital, promotional, experiential and shopper marketing activation includes development of creative commerce campaigns for Fortune 500 brands such as Coca-Cola, Levi’s, Procter & Gamble, Ford, Disney, Visa, Microsoft, KFC, SC Johnson, and many others. Laura’s proudest accomplishments include successfully relaunching Diet Coke with a new generation of consumers, and helping OREO set an official World Record for the World’s Largest Dunk. 

 

Laura is listed in “Who’s Who of Shopper Marketing,” is a regular guest lecturer at Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School and Michigan State University, as well as a keynote speaker for 4A’s annual summit.

Oystein Enger

Oystein supports a team of people leading Channel Planning, Shopper Marketing, and Design development for Texas, Oklahoma, and parts of New Mexico and Arkansas. With that, his team is responsible for development and stewardship of all Point-Of-Sale material in the region.  

With over 20 years in the Coca-Cola System, he has broad experience within the field of Marketing, from brand development and innovation to commercial planning and operations. Oystein spent the first eight years of his career working for The Coca-Cola Company in Europe and with Corporate and has been in Texas since 2008. In 2017, he joined Arca Continental – Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, as the Monterrey, Mexico-based corporation gained the Bottling rights from TCCC for the Southwest US territory.

Angela Pinkstaff

Angela joined HRG in 2013 as a business development manager and soon moved into the director role. In addition to leading many of the collaborative strategy sessions on behalf of clients, she guides her team in developing customized retail solutions for clients, such as:

  • Detailed strategy roadmaps
  • Product launch plans and promotional execution
  • Direct outreach programs and at-shelf initiatives
  • Sales tools to influence business-to-business and business-to-consumer targets
  • Brand-building communications
  • Package development

Her firm grasp on all aspects of the retail supply chain has led to effective programs that have met key objectives and driven positive ROI on behalf of brands. In addition, she has introduced fixture manufacturers to processes to streamline and improve costs and efficiencies in department sets and resets and currently serves on the Insights and Professional Development Committee on behalf of the Shop! Association.

During fixture resets — which often occur more than once a year — the amount of reuse can increase while waste can decrease; at the same time the overall process is streamlined.

This interactive presentation will show how technology can help attendees overcome any internal resistance to change and illuminate where improvements can be made, reimagining resets that are more cost-effective and socially responsible.

A firm believer in the value of sharing knowledge, Mardi spent several years as a professor at a number of distinguished design schools around the world, and today his design projects benefit from his commitment to success through collaboration. Mardi has worked on many notable award-winning projects for clients such as Telus, Surterra Wellness, and Penguin Shop.

Stephanie Lewis
