LG Signature Kitchen Suite appliances are LG’s highest end products, competing against Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Monogram, Miele, and more. The Objective of this project was to build a Kitchen Vignette that would go into showrooms that have a high-end perception of luxury kitchen appliances. This vignette must be designed with premium materials such as solid surface counters and backsplashes, trending colors, and architectural LED lighting. The LG backlit logo needs to be designed for immediate brand recognition. A modular approach to this build is a must, due to all showroom spaces being different. Fit as many appliances as possible into every Kitchen Vignette without overcrowding the display, like some lower-end brands tend to do. Through this design process, create a Signature Suite Style guideline with two color pallets so that the showrooms have options. Power appliances with cheater cords, so that all the control panels can be functional. Some kitchens will also be LIVE, so actual cooking demonstrations can be performed in real time in the showrooms (see photos for reference). Prop the kitchens so that they look more like a realistic at-home kitchen, and not just a store vignette. Allow interaction with all appliances displayed. Create a refrigerator module that can incorporate a 36" or 48" wide refrigerator. Kitchen Vignettes need to be installed in two days or less including appliance installation. Drive brand awareness and sales of this new Signature product line in at least 40 showrooms.
